Many People, One Voice

manypeopleonevoiceNigel Webb and Sean Marston recently returned from East and Southern Africa where they were part of a communications and mobilisation consultation. The two key foci of the week in Kenya were how to collaborate and coherently communicate in our increasing diversity, and how to mobilise people and resources towards reaching those who are living and dying without the gospel. ThmosaicFacese theme came from Romans 15:5-6, 20 (NIV)

May the God who gives endurance and encouragement give you the same attitude of mind toward each other that Christ Jesus had,
so that with one mind and one voice you may glorify the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ… It has always been my ambition to preach the gospel where Christ was not known…

We also got to visit some great SIM NZers serving in their element: Dean and Kaylene Yeoman (South Africa); Dee Jones, David & Enless Friend, Naomi Simpson, Timothy & Zara Woo (Zambia); Daniel, Anita, Esther & Chloe Muir (Botswana); and Jim & Diane Young, Erica Aarsen, and Anna Brown (Malawi). We have great missionaries! – they are fun to be with and are involved in key relationship-based ministry, living out the gospel in the everydayness of life.
